It's been crazy in California with some fairly intense rainy weather. My mom bought the girls some adorable rain coats which were put to good use. Puddle jumping! :)

Elfriede (Elfie) deserves a grand name. We are so smitten with her... Sean and I thought about it today and came up with - are you ready?:

Heart n Soul's Elfriede Von Weihnachtsmann (said "El-free-duh Von Vy-nock-smun") Elfriede means "elf strength," Von translates to "from" and Weihnachtsmann translates to "Santa Claus." (Heart n Soul is the home/breeder she came from.)

Today, she got a bath. She wasn't sure about it at first since she slipped around a bit in the bathtub. But once she realized how good a shampoo/body rub down felt, she started to talk to me in an very happy grunting voice. When she got out, she tore around the house like she was the happiest little puppy on the planet. She was SOOO excited to be clean and wet! The girls were giggling at her rambunctious behavior and how pouncy she was.

I think a weekly bath will be in order. :)
