My mom joined us for some traditional fun at the Dana Point Winter (Christmas) festival this year. It was pouring down rain all morning but we took advantage of a break in the weather and for two hours enjoyed all that they had to offer. The girls had a GREAT time playing in the snow. There were crafts, games, Santa and Mrs. Claus, a petting zoo and a farmer's market. Piper loved the animals but steered clear of the snow after she fell in it and her hands touched the cold ice. And I didn't even attempt to put her on THIS Santa's lap. One lap torture per year should suffice. ;)
