Honing My Hover Craft Skills

I watch my girls like a hawk. I do. Especially when we are out and about somewhere. But even inside our locked home I am always checking in on them if I haven't seen or heard anything in a few minutes. I think my brother once referred to this as hover-craft mom syndrome.

So, it always makes me cock my head to one side in wonderment when I find things like a rock in the sink, a toothbrush in the toy stroller and an empty lip balm tube sitting on the coffee table (did one of them eat the lip balm or will I find it in the crack of the couch the next time - another year from now - I do a deep cleaning on the house?).

Equally intriguing is walking into a deserted play area to discover the silliest of scenarios that must have occurred during pretend play... like the other day when I found a large plastic cow tipped over and about 10 little odd animals and people snuggled into it's belly trying to nurse. Hmm.
