Not to be outdone, Dillen is most definitely proving she, too, is a big girl these days. She's been doing a lot of things on her own for a while (brushing her teeth, choosing her own clothes and getting herself dressed, getting in and out of the car and her car seat, helping her little sister with small tasks, etc.). But it was quite a site this morning when I got out of bed and saw her on the counter taking bowls down from the cupboard (she had gotten the stool from the bathroom to get up). She had already taken out the cereal and drinking cups. When I saw her, I asked, "What are you doing Sweetie?" She was SOOO proud to say, "I'm making everyone breakfast!" She was certain she needed no help so I let her do her thing and we all enjoyed water and Cheerios this morning thanks to The Big Girl. :)
