What a great time we had at the local elementary school - celebrating all of the karate students' accomplishments where Dillen is training. Dillen is a "mini ninja" with an orange belt and one stripe. She was SO excited to perform for us and her peers tonight. And who knew she would be getting a medal?! She was thrilled. At the end, her instructor announced to the crowd of about 300 that if they had the time, she would like for all of the students to join her on stage for a group picture. Of course, leave it to Dillen to holler right up to her, "I have time for that!" It gave the crowd a good chuckle and prompted her teacher's assistant to hold her for a front and center photo opportunity. Sean will be providing pictures to me soon. Side note: Roxy was a pure delight tonight - watching and rooting on her sister. She lasted the full two hours with smiles, applause and kisses. :)
