Making wind chimes
We were playing in the backyard with the girls yesterday and Dillen said, "Hey! I want to make a wind chime!" Well, I put on my thinking cap and decided we could wing it. I told Dillen to search our backyard for two thick sticks and then we all went inside. I found some pink gift wrap ribbon and then pulled a bag of shells from Hawaii that have been sitting in a box forever. The shells already had holes in them so they worked perfectly for stringing. I showed Dillen how to string and tie them each on the ribbon and off she went. She decided that three ribbons were enough. After she was done, we took it outside to the backyard, hung it up on our play set and continued playing.
